MEET SPENCER ZAK
I grew up in Cleveland, where sports shaped a large part of who I was. Football gave me structure, competition, and something to continually work toward, eventually leading me to play at John Carroll University.
By my senior year, injuries and the impact of COVID changed what I thought the end of my athletic career would look like and forced me to rethink what training meant when I was no longer preparing for the next season.
Up until then, I had mostly understood training through the lens of sports: work harder, push through, and do whatever was required to perform. Rebuilding my own body exposed me to a completely different side of it.
That experience changed everything and I soon realized how much more there was to training than simply working hard.
After college, I spent a few years working in the corporate world, but eventually realized it wasn't the direction I wanted my life to go. I left that path, began coaching, and later moved to Columbus, Ohio to pursue it full-time without really knowing what it would turn into.
Now, here I am today as a certified coach and trainer, working with a variety of people—from former and current athletes to military personnel and everyday people—showing them what is truly possible with an approach and system centered around developing all qualities of fitness.
